SDConsultancy is an award winning, SQA approved Training Provider based in the Scottish Borders. We deliver both Modern and Foundation Apprenticeships which are work based qualifications in Hospitality, Business Administration, Management, Digital Marketing, Creative Digital Media as well as in Sports and Leisure. These Apprenticeships enable candidates to gain a relevant qualification in their area of expertise. Our assessors are all specialists in their field and offer the highest standard of assessment services, support and coaching.

We’re growing and we’d love to hear from dynamic self-starters who want to be part of a supportive and pro-active team that works together to deliver the apprenticeships described above. Additionally, all our assessors will need to be comfortable gathering evidence to link criteria across the five Workplace Core Skill Units of Communication, Numeracy, ICT, Working with others, and Problem Solving. 

There will be an element of business development in the role and candidates with relevant and current professional networks in their industry will be favoured.

You’ll be joining an ambitious, creative team of professionals who have all embraced digital technology as a way of enhancing the delivery of apprenticeships and other qualifications in a post-Covid landscape. You will be fully supported to develop skills and experience and qualify as an SVQ Assessor or an Internal Verifier if necessary to help us get on with the business of supporting our candidates through their apprenticeships.  

• Competence with a range of digital technologies for communication and record keeping, matched with excellent communication skills,
• Relevant industry experience and CPD in your chosen field,
• Ability to inspire and support apprentices to the successful completion of their qualification.

You’ll be working remotely, but these are jobs based in Scotland.  You can work your hours when they best suit your life. As long as you demonstrate the essential attributes described above in spades, we will get along famously.

The positions are available on a freelance and permanent basis and come with a 3 month probationary period. Our salaries and bonuses are competitive and will depend on the type of appointment, the hours that work for you, as well as your experience.
